The Special Weekend Tournament will be conducted for the participants who qualify from the Daily Series tournaments from 4th to 8th October for a Prize Pool of Rs.2 Lakhs on 9th October.
Participants for the Weekend Summit-
- The top 2 players from the Daily Series will go directly into the Weekend Summit.
- 6 Lucky Wild Card Entrants from the Quarterfinals will be selected 1 each day from Monday to Thursday and 2 on Friday for direct entry into the Weekend Summit.
- Total 16 Participants will compete for a Mega Prize Pool of Rs. 2 Lakhs*
Rules-
Selection Of Top 2 Players For The Day
- In case a player fails to answer the call from the MPL Esports Team or denies to play in the Weekend Tournament, the MPL Esports team will select their opponent (Semi-Finalist)
- In case the opponent doesn’t pick up the call or accepts to play, the MPL Esports team will select the other Semi-Finalist of that day
- In case the other Semi-Finalist doesn’t pick up the call or accepts to play, the MPL Esports team will randomly select from a Quarter-Finalist of that day
- This process will be followed until 2 players selected from that day
Selection of 6 Lucky Wild Card Entrants
- The MPL Esports Team will collate all the Semi-Finalists and Quarter Finalists of that day and run a lucky draw among them to select 1 Lucky winner for the Weekend Summit Tournament
- This will be done using a Random Name Picker to keep it fair for everyone
- In case, the player who gets selected fails to answer the call or denies to play in the Weekend Summit, the MPL Esports team will run the lucky draw again and this process will continue until there is 1 Lucky Draw Winner from each day
The MPL Esports Team also reserves the right to maintain backup participants in case a player first confirms and then denies later to play in the Weekend Tournament.
